Maria Gabriella Sagheddu did one good thing
[1914-1939]
Maria Gabriella Sagheddu died less than 18 months after making her vows as a Trappist nun, and nothing that preceded her entrance to the convent is really worth noting. Her simple claim to fame — she is not yet a saint, merely beatified — is that, for a period of a year, cloistered with her fellow sisters, she undertook attentive and routine prayer for unity among Christians. Nothing more, nothing less.
